About the Role
The Staff Technician will assemble, maintain, and review wireless charging PCBs, antennas, equipment, and test setups for staff engineers. This role is hands-on and will involve frequent PCB assembly, testing, and debugging. It will involve exposure to a wide variety of circuit topologies, new antenna configurations, and cross-functional working with other team members. The Staff Technician will have early exposure and experience accelerating advanced technology and help propel the growth of a startup developing wireless charging products that greatly impact people’s lives.

The primary responsibilities of the Staff Technician are as follows:
– Fabricate, assemble, test, and verify new PCB and antenna designs
– Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning PCBs, equipment, and other appliances
– Read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams and schematics
– Advise management on the use of suitable equipment, work benches, and other test setups
– Order electrical part supplies and equipment
– Maintain a clean and organized workplace for materials and equipment
Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree
2+ years of full-time experience as an electrical technician
2+ years of PCB soldering, assembly, and debugging experience
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, make effective and timely decisions, and solve problems
Passion for creating a wireless world where the state of your battery is not a concern but a mere afterthought
Prior experience with RF circuits and equipment
Prior experience operating reflow ovens and soldering die packaging components
Prior experience at a startup

We are looking for a Staff Technician to join our team and be able to lead the fabrication, assembly, and quality control for PCB and antenna designs to help capitalize on the significant opportunity we have to scale the company
